Ryan Preece Secures First Cup Win and Playoff Spot

Ryan Preece celebrated his first career victory in the NASCAR Cup Series at the Coke Zero Sugar 400, held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. This win, which occurred during the regular-season finale, allowed Preece to advance to the postseason.

In a thrilling overtime finish, Preece, driving the No. 60 car, overtook Zane Smith's No. 38 Ford after Smith attempted to block another driver and spun out. Preece led for five laps and secured the win in his 249th career start, marking Ford's fourth consecutive victory at Daytona.

Daniel Suarez, Michael McDowell, Tyler Reddick, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. completed the top five positions, while Smith finished in 32nd place. The race extended six laps beyond the scheduled 160-lap distance, showcasing intense competition among the 40-car field.
