Ryan Woodman to Undergo Surgery, Out Until December
Ryan Woodman, a flanker for the Dragons, has been sidelined until late December due to a bicep injury that necessitates surgery.
The 22-year-old will be unable to compete for a spot in Wales' Nations Championship campaign set for November. Woodman, who has previously captained the Wales Under-20s and was called up to the Six Nations squad last season, has played in recent matches, including a draw against Benetton and a victory over Scarlets.
Dragons defense coach Dale MacLeod confirmed that Woodman will undergo surgery on Friday and begin his recovery. The team is also awaiting the arrival of new signing Terrell Peita from New Zealand, while dealing with injuries to other players, including tight-head Rob Hunt and Chris Coleman.
