Recent communications from Saudi organizers Sela to the mayor's office indicate interest in bringing the fight to London. However, discussions have reportedly stalled as organizers and Netflix prefer Madison Square Garden in New York for a November event, with no specific dates or plans for a London venue yet established.

Khan highlighted the significance of the fight for British fans, noting that both boxers have a strong following in the UK. He mentioned that Wembley has hosted numerous notable events and expressed hope that a decision on the venue would be made soon, as Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, aims for an announcement this week.
