Sahibzada Farhan Sets New T20I Record for Pakistan
Sahibzada Farhan, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has set a new record by accumulating 238 runs in a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by India's Abhishek Sharma, who scored 229 runs in a series against Afghanistan earlier this year.
In the final match of the series, Farhan scored 76 runs off 47 balls, marking his third consecutive half-century. Despite his strong performance, Pakistan lost the match by eight wickets, with Sri Lanka successfully chasing down a target of 169 runs, led by Kusal Mendis's unbeaten 87 runs.
Farhan's record now positions him at the top for the most runs in a bilateral three-match T20I series between Full Member teams. The series concluded with Pakistan winning the first two matches, securing victories by four wickets and 82 runs, respectively.
