Saints Add Cedric Tillman to Practice Squad Amid Injuries
The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Cedric Tillman to their practice squad as they prepare for the upcoming regular season. This move comes as first-round draft pick Jordyn Tyson will be unavailable for at least the first four games due to injury.
Tillman, who was previously with the Cleveland Browns, was released during the team's roster cuts. Over three seasons with the Browns, he recorded 71 receptions for 833 yards and five touchdowns. The Saints are also managing injuries with Mason Tipton on the physically unable to perform list.
Alongside Chris Olave and Devaughn Vele, the active roster includes fourth-round pick Bryce Lane and sixth-round pick Barion Brown, making Tillman's experience a valuable addition as the team heads into Week 1.
