Saints Place RB Audric Estime on Injured Reserve
The New Orleans Saints have made several roster changes in preparation for their season opener against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Running back Audric Estime has been placed on injured reserve after being ruled out on Friday due to a thigh injury, which will require him to miss at least four games before he can return. In response, the Saints have elevated running back C.J. Donaldson from the practice squad, as Alvin Kamara is listed as questionable with a knee injury, potentially leaving Donaldson to join Travis Etienne and Kendre Miller as the available running backs.
Additionally, the Saints have elevated wide receiver Kevin Austin and signed tight end Treyton Welch to the active roster from the practice squad.
