Saints Release Jayden Price, Sign Decamerion Richardson
The New Orleans Saints have waived cornerback Jayden Price just two days after he fumbled the opening kickoff in the second half of their game against the Vikings.
Price recorded three tackles over five games while participating in 112 special teams snaps. Additionally, the Saints released undrafted rookie Brock Rechsteiner, who was on the reserve/suspended list and did not play, and terminated the contract of long snapper Cal Adomitis.
In a move to bolster their roster, the Saints re-signed cornerback Decamerion Richardson, who was originally a fourth-round pick by the Raiders in 2024. Richardson had previously joined the Saints off waivers and played two games, making one special teams tackle. The team also cut running back Ulysses Bentley and wide receiver Trey Palmer from the practice squad.
