Saints' Rookie Wide Receiver Jordyn Tyson to Miss Two Months Due to Injury
Jordyn Tyson, a rookie wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, is set to miss around two months after suffering a hamstring injury during practice last week.
The injury means Tyson will not make his NFL debut in Week 1. He was selected by the Saints as the No. 8 overall pick in the NFL Draft from Arizona State, where he had a successful final season with 61 receptions for 711 yards and four touchdowns.
Tyson had previously faced injury issues during his college career, which have now affected the start of his professional journey. He was anticipated to compete for the No. 2 wide receiver position behind Chris Olave but will need to recover before rejoining the team's offense.
