Saints Sign Chris Olave to New Contract Extension
The New Orleans Saints have finalized a new contract extension for wide receiver Chris Olave, concluding one of the training camp hold-ins on Thursday.
Olave's extension is a four-year deal reportedly valued at up to $132 million. The contract includes a base salary of $1.293 million for 2026, fully guaranteed, along with a per-game roster bonus of $1.36 million for that year. The base salary for 2027 is set at $13.64 million, also fully guaranteed, with similar terms for the following years, including a base salary of $23 million in 2028 and $27 million in 2029.
The contract features performance escalators totaling $2 million from 2027 to 2030, contingent on achievements such as being named a first-team All-Pro or reaching specific receiving milestones. Olave's contract guarantees $52.653 million at signing, with increasing guarantees in subsequent years, reflecting the team's commitment to the player.
