Sami Pajari Claims Victory at Rally Finland

Sami Pajari won Rally Finland, marking a significant achievement as he became the 14th Finnish driver to triumph in the event. The Toyota driver finished 26.7 seconds ahead of his teammate Oliver Solberg, further solidifying his position in the World Rally Championship standings.

This victory follows Pajari's first WRC win in Estonia two weeks prior. At 24 years old, he is the second-youngest winner of Rally Finland, just behind Simo Lampinen. Pajari expressed that winning this rally is as important to him as a World Championship title, highlighting the unique significance of a home victory.

Pajari received support from WRC legend Ari Vatanen throughout his journey, who encouraged him during the Estonian rally and was present at the finish line in Finland. Following this win, Pajari moved into second place in the championship, trailing teammate Elfyn Evans by 30 points, while maintaining his focus on performing his best in every event.
