Santos Escobar Discusses Pitching LWO Concept to Triple H in NXT

Former WWE Superstar Santos Escobar, now known as Romeo Malverde, shared insights about his experience pitching the Latino World Order (LWO) concept to Triple H during his tenure in NXT.

Escobar, who was with WWE from 2019 to 2026, initially suggested the LWO idea to Triple H but faced rejection. Instead, he was entrusted with leading the faction Legado Del Fantasma alongside Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, which later expanded in both NXT and the main roster.

Eventually, Rey Mysterio reestablished the LWO, incorporating Escobar and his teammates. In a recent interview, Escobar expressed pride in inspiring others in the wrestling community, reflecting on his journey from being inspired by legends to receiving their praise. He also voiced a desire for WWE to hire more Latino talent in various roles within the organization.
