Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith Miss Wednesday Practice
On Wednesday, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver DeVonta Smith were absent from practice due to injuries. Barkley sustained a hamstring injury during the team's recent 24-20 defeat against the Rams, where he managed only two carries for 8 yards.
In addition to Barkley and Smith, the Eagles were also without several other players, including wide receiver Hollywood Brown, linebacker Jihaad Campbell, safety Marcus Epps, outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, and center Drew Kendall, all dealing with various injuries. Linebacker Zack Baun, tight end Dallas Goedert, offensive tackle Fred Johnson, and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell participated in limited capacity due to their respective injuries.
Goedert has been sidelined for two games following an MCL sprain sustained in Week 2, while Baun missed the last game due to a concussion.
