Saquon Barkley Ranked No. 34 in 2026 NFL Top 100 Players List
Saquon Barkley, a former standout at Penn State and current running back for the Philadelphia Eagles, has been placed at No. 34 on the NFL's 2026 Top 100 players list, as announced on Thursday morning.
After an impressive 2024 season where he achieved 2,005 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, Barkley was ranked first in the previous year's list. However, his performance declined in 2025, with only 1,140 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, leading to a drop of 33 positions in the latest rankings. Contributing factors included challenges with blocking and playcalling, as he faced being hit behind the line of scrimmage on 47.1% of his carries.
The NFL Top 100 program features highlight videos for each player, and Barkley's video included endorsements from teammates and other players, praising his unique combination of speed, agility, and vision on the field. Currently, no other former Penn State players have been recognized in the 2026 Top 100 list.
