Sauce Gardner Faces Week-to-Week Recovery from Calf Strain

Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner is likely to be sidelined for some time following an injury sustained during a game on Sunday.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Gardner is considered week-to-week due to a mild calf strain. He left the game in the third quarter but returned to the sideline, attempting to re-enter the match, though he was ultimately unable to do so.

Since being acquired via trade midway through the previous season, Gardner has recorded four passes defensed and 17 total tackles in the current season.
