Savinho Joins Tottenham from Manchester City for £75 Million
Savinho has officially signed with Tottenham Hotspur, moving from Manchester City for an initial transfer fee of £75 million. The Brazilian winger, who is 22 years old, previously struggled to secure a regular starting position at City, making only seven Premier League appearances last season.
During his time at City, Savinho made a total of 53 league appearances, scoring two goals and providing nine assists. Tottenham's Sporting Director, Johan Lange, highlighted Savinho's quality and potential fit within the team's structure, while head coach Roberto De Zerbi praised his energy and creativity on the field.
The transfer marks a significant financial move for both clubs, with the deal potentially setting a record sale for Manchester City. Tottenham's upcoming matches include a home game against Charlton Athletic in the EFL Cup and Premier League fixtures against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
