Scott McTominay Returns to Training After Heart Surgery

Scott McTominay, the Scotland midfielder, has returned to training with Napoli after undergoing heart surgery.

The 29-year-old had a successful ablation procedure in Manchester last month to address irregular heart rhythms. Following further diagnostic tests on Wednesday, Napoli confirmed that he is fit to participate in team training.

McTominay had previously been substituted during a match against Como in August after a mild arrhythmia was detected. His recovery kept him out of four Scotland fixtures, including a recent Nations League match against Slovenia. Scotland's upcoming games are scheduled against Switzerland and North Macedonia in November.
