Scottie Scheffler Claims Second FedEx Cup Title, Surpasses Tiger Woods in Earnings

Scottie Scheffler secured his second FedEx Cup title at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, defeating Viktor Hovland by three strokes. This victory marks Scheffler as one of the few players to have won multiple FedEx Cup championships.

Scheffler, ranked as the world's No. 1 player, shot a final round of 4-under-par 66, finishing with a total score of 16-under 264. Hovland, who was the 2023 champion, started the final round with a one-stroke lead but ended with a score of 2-over, finishing at 13 under.

With this win, Scheffler also surpassed Tiger Woods on the PGA Tour's career money list, now totaling $130,390,661 after earning the $10 million first prize. Woods previously held the record with $120,999,166. Scheffler's performance included a series of birdies that allowed him to take the lead, ultimately leading to his victory.
