Scottie Scheffler Leads FedEx St. Jude Championship by Two Strokes
Scottie Scheffler shot a 2-under-par 68 on Saturday to retain his lead in the FedEx St. Jude Championship held in Memphis, Tennessee. He is seeking his first victory since January.
With a total score of 13-under 197, Scheffler is two strokes ahead of Sam Burns and Sunjae Im at TPC Southwind. Burns made a strong move with a bogey-free round of 62, while Im, who played alongside Scheffler, recorded a score of 67.
This tournament marks the beginning of the PGA Tour's postseason, with the top 50 players advancing to the BMW Championship next week. Scheffler, currently ranked World No. 1, has not won since The American Express but has achieved 11 top-10 finishes this season. He faced challenges during the round, including two bogeys, one of which occurred on the fourth hole.
