Scottish Football Transfer Rumors: Midfielders on the Move

Midfielders from both Rangers and Celtic are reportedly considering moves away from their clubs, while a Dundee United striker is evaluating his international options.

Rangers midfielder Tochi Chukwuani is contemplating a departure in January if his playing time does not increase. Meanwhile, Connor Barron, currently on loan at Middlesbrough, is assured by the club's manager that his opportunity will arise. Celtic is also open to loaning out Joel van den Berg, who has yet to debut since his transfer from PSV Eindhoven this summer.

Dundee United's Daniel Bennie, on loan from Queens Park Rangers, is caught in a selection dilemma between representing Scotland or Australia. Additionally, Andy Carroll, a former striker for Liverpool and Newcastle United, disclosed that he had initially agreed to play for Scotland in his youth but ultimately withdrew.
