Seahawks Confirm Zach Charbonnet Will Not Play Against Broncos
The Seattle Seahawks will not have running back Zach Charbonnet available for their Thursday night matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Charbonnet has been practicing since his return from the physically unable to perform list on October 1, but the team officially ruled him out on Wednesday. He must be activated next week to play this season following his recovery from a torn ACL. Additionally, linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt have also been ruled out due to injuries.
Despite these absences, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and defensive tackle Leonard Williams are expected to play, as they do not have injury designations. The Seahawks also made roster changes, signing running back Velus Jones and releasing wide receiver Irv Charles, who has since rejoined the practice squad.
