
Seahawks Extend Leonard Williams with $90 Million Deal
The Seattle Seahawks have finalized a three-year contract extension with defensive lineman Leonard Williams, valued at $90 million. This agreement comes as Williams was set to enter the final year of his previous contract.
Williams, who joined the Seahawks midway through the 2023 season, has participated in 43 games with the team, achieving 22.0 sacks, 34 tackles for loss, and 61 quarterback hits. In the last season, he recorded 7.0 sacks, nine tackles for loss, and 22 quarterback hits during the regular season, contributing to the team's Super Bowl LX victory with additional postseason stats.
Originally selected as the sixth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft from USC, Williams has amassed a total of 61.5 career sacks, 93 tackles for loss, and 223 quarterback hits throughout his tenure with the Jets, Giants, and Seahawks.
