Seahawks' New Ownership Includes 12 Limited Partners
The Seattle Seahawks have a new ownership group that consists of 12 limited partners, reflecting the team's association with the 12th man concept.
The group includes individuals such as Mark Stevens, former managing partner at Sequoia Capital, and members of the Aramburuzabala family, among others. Notable partners also include Sheryl Sokoloff, Jesse van der Werf, and Penny Pritzker. The specific ownership percentages for each partner have not been revealed.
As part of the ownership structure, the Khosla family was mandated to acquire 30 percent of the team, which translates to a minimum investment of $2.88 billion based on the total purchase price of $9.612 billion. The remaining funds are expected to be sourced from the limited partners.
