Seahawks Release Trevon Diggs and Place Zach Charbonnet on PUP List
The Seattle Seahawks have made significant roster changes, including the release of cornerback Trevon Diggs and the placement of running back Zach Charbonnet on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Trevon Diggs, who joined the Seahawks on August 19, was unable to secure a spot on the final roster despite making a tackle and intercepting a pass in the preseason finale. His career has faced challenges, with three teams cutting him since December 30 and multiple knee surgeries over the past three seasons.
In addition to these moves, the Seahawks announced the termination of contracts for several vested veterans and waived numerous players, including offensive linemen and defensive backs. Zach Charbonnet, who suffered a knee injury during the playoffs, had a productive regular season with 730 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
