Seahawks Sign Linebacker Garrett Nelson

The Seattle Seahawks have added linebacker Garrett Nelson to their 90-man roster, as announced on Tuesday. This move comes with the corresponding waiver of wide receiver Kyre Duplessis.

Garrett Nelson previously participated in training camp with the Denver Broncos last year and has been part of practice squads for both the Broncos and the New Orleans Saints. In 2023, he also had brief stints with the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, although he has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Before his NFL involvement, Nelson played for San Antonio in the UFL during 2024 and 2025, where he recorded 27 tackles, four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles over 19 games.
