Seahawks Sign Linebacker Joseph Vaughn
The Seattle Seahawks have strengthened their linebacker position by signing Joseph Vaughn, as announced by the team on Saturday.
This signing comes alongside the decision to waive linebacker Ja'Markis Weston, who has been designated with an injury. Vaughn, who went undrafted from UCLA in 2025, initially signed with the Indianapolis Colts, where he participated in training camp before being waived.
During his time at UCLA, Vaughn played in 12 games in 2024, recording eight tackles. Prior to that, he spent three seasons at Yale, earning All-Ivy League honors twice, including first-team recognition in 2023. If Weston clears waivers, he will revert to the Seahawks' injured reserve list.
