The Seattle Seahawks are set to acquire guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts, according to reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
In exchange for Nelson, the Seahawks will send a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick to the Colts. Nelson, who is 30 years old, is in the final year of his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
Nelson was originally selected by the Colts as a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $80 million extension in 2023, which was a record for a guard at that time. This season, he has participated in six games as a left guard for the Colts.
