Brady recently won against Joaquin Buckley at UFC 328 and had hoped to compete in his hometown. Despite being a prominent fighter from Philadelphia, he was not included on the card, which has left fans disappointed. He mentioned that rumors regarding fights with Yaroslav Amosov or a rematch with Michael Morales were never discussed.

Brady will instead compete the following weekend at RAF12 in Cleveland, Ohio, co-headlining against Jordan Burroughs. This event also includes a trilogy fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo.
