Sean Brady Not Offered Fight for UFC 330 in Philadelphia

Sean Brady, a welterweight fighter from Philadelphia, has stated that he was never offered a fight for UFC 330, which is scheduled to take place in his hometown next week.

Brady, who holds the fifth rank in the 170-pound category, mentioned that he was not presented with any opponents for the August 15 event at Xfinity Mobile Arena, despite the card featuring two title fights. He expressed disappointment after his recent victory over Joaquin Buckley, indicating he was looking for a higher-ranked opponent.

While discussions about a potential matchup with Gabriel Bonfim occurred, no agreements were reached. UFC 330 will see Islam Makhachev defending the welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry, and Mackenzie Dern facing Gillian Robertson for the strawweight belt. Brady's teammate Jeremiah Wells is the only Philadelphia fighter on the card, as Joe Pyfer's bout was canceled due to an opponent's injury. Brady is set to compete in a freestyle wrestling match against Jordan Burroughs the following week and aims to return to the Octagon later this year.
