Sean McVay Suggests Davante Adams May Return Sooner from Injury
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams, who suffered a ruptured hamstring during the team's Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, is projected to return sooner than the initially estimated 6-10 weeks. Rams head coach Sean McVay mentioned that Adams is healing well and could be back in the lineup closer to the shorter end of the recovery timeline.
Despite missing the Rams' recent victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, Adams remains a key player for the team, ranking third with 30 receptions and second with 480 receiving yards this season. McVay confirmed that Adams underwent successful surgery on his hamstring and is in good spirits during his recovery.
Adams is expected to miss upcoming games against the Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders, and Arizona Cardinals. The Rams will have a bye week before facing the Green Bay Packers on November 25, and there is a possibility that Adams could be available for that game.
