Sean Payton to Resume Playcalling for Broncos

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton has announced that he will resume calling offensive plays after initially handing the responsibility to offensive coordinator Davis Webb. This decision comes following a lackluster performance from the team in the first four weeks of the season.

During a press conference, Payton confirmed his intention to take back playcalling duties, stating that he believes the offense has more potential than what has been displayed. While Webb will continue to contribute to game planning, Payton will directly communicate with quarterback Bo Nix during games.

Payton acknowledged that the choice to reclaim playcalling was difficult but felt it was necessary for improvement. The Broncos will face the Chargers this Sunday, marking their first opportunity to implement these changes.
