Seattle Seahawks Face Challenges with 2026 NFL Draft Class
The Seattle Seahawks aimed to rebuild their Super Bowl roster during the 2026 NFL Draft, but injuries have significantly impacted their draft class. General manager John Schneider made eight selections, yet many players have struggled to make an impact on the field.
Jadarian Price, who was expected to contribute after the team lost Kenneth Walker III to free agency, has had limited success with 28 carries for 119 yards and four receptions for 21 yards. He has faced challenges with interior blocking and has been placed on injured reserve due to a chest injury. Similarly, cornerback Riq Woolen's departure led to the drafting of Neal, who has only played two defensive snaps before being sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Bud Clark, another key draft pick, suffered a broken ankle during the preseason, ending his season before it began. The only other draft selection to see significant playtime is Stephens, who has contributed at right guard. Other drafted players are currently on the practice squad, while undrafted free agent Avery Smith is focused on special teams.
