Seattle Seahawks Sign Cornerback Terrion Arnold Amid Legal Issues

The Seattle Seahawks have made headlines by signing cornerback Terrion Arnold to a one-year contract, further increasing attention on the team this preseason.

Arnold, a former first-round pick by the Detroit Lions, was released after facing eight felony charges related to a robbery and kidnapping incident in February. Prior to joining the Seahawks, he had also met with the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, and New York Giants.

As Arnold navigates his legal situation, the NFL will decide whether to place him on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, which would allow him to remain with the team but prevent him from playing in games. Arnold has pleaded not guilty to the charges, with his next court appearance scheduled for October 5, after the Seahawks' fourth regular-season game.
