Sebastien Ogier Aims for 10th WRC Title with Remaining Rounds

Sebastien Ogier, the reigning World Rally Championship (WRC) champion, has announced plans to participate in the final four rounds of the season, beginning with Rally Paraguay. This decision comes as he seeks to secure a record 10th world title.

Ogier's announcement follows a recent incident at Rally Finland where he crashed while leading the race. Although he and his temporary co-driver Julien Ingrassia exited the vehicle without injury, they were taken to the hospital for precautionary checks and were released after an overnight stay.

After retiring from Rally Finland, Ogier fell to fifth place in the championship standings, trailing leader Elfyn Evans by 62 points. Initially, Ogier had intended to compete in only 10 rounds this year, but his ambition for a 10th title has led him to extend his participation. He will be joined by regular co-driver Vincent Landais for the remaining events.
