Senators Defeat Panthers 5-1 in Tkachuk's Return to Ottawa

The Ottawa Senators secured a 5-1 victory against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night, marking Brady Tkachuk's return to the Canadian Tire Centre. Tkachuk, who previously played eight seasons with the Senators, was met with boos and chants from the crowd.

During the game, Tkachuk scored the Panthers' only goal on a power play, but the Senators responded with goals from Tim Stutzle, Claude Giroux, Shane Pinto, Warren Foegele, and Stephen Halliday. The Senators, now with a record of 7-3-0, lost goaltender Linus Ullmark early in the third period after he made a pad save on Tkachuk.

The match featured several heated moments, including a fight involving Ottawa's Ridly Greig and Florida's Sam Bennett. The Senators will next host the San Jose Sharks, while the Panthers are set to face the Pittsburgh Penguins.
