Sergio Perez to Miss Mexico GP Fan Forum Due to Illness

Sergio Perez will not participate in the fan forum for the Mexico Grand Prix this weekend due to feeling unwell. However, he is still anticipated to take part in both Friday practice sessions at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

This decision follows a similar situation with his teammate Valtteri Bottas, who also missed Thursday's media day due to illness. While Bottas is expected to be present at the track on Friday, his car will be driven by test driver Colton Herta during the opening practice as Herta aims to secure a super licence.

A statement from Cadillac confirmed Perez's absence from the fan forum and expressed apologies to fans. The team emphasized that Perez's participation in the remaining events of the race weekend, including FP1 and FP2, remains unaffected. The team has options available should Perez not be fit for FP1, including utilizing reserve driver Zhou Guanyu.
