Sevilla is on the verge of completing a £7.9 million transfer for Robbie Ure, a 22-year-old striker from Scotland's Under-21 team, currently playing for IK Sirius in Sweden.

Ure is expected to undergo a medical examination at Sevilla on Monday and is prepared to sign a five-year contract, aiming to take on a leading role at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium. This season, he has made a significant impact, scoring 20 goals and providing three assists in just 20 matches.

Previously, Ure started his career at Rangers, where he had limited appearances, and later joined Anderlecht in 2023. His performance in Sweden has been remarkable, with 31 goals and seven assists in 50 matches since his arrival at Sirius a year ago. His contributions have helped Sirius secure a 13-point lead in the Allsvenskan league.
