Shameemudheen Becomes Highest-Paid Player at PVL Season 5 Auction

Shameemudheen was acquired by Kochi Blue Spikers for ₹20 lakh during the Prime Volleyball League (PVL) season 5 auction held on Monday in Goa, making him the highest-paid player of the event.

In addition to Shameemudheen, other teams made significant acquisitions. The Ahmedabad Defenders secured C.K. Muhammad Nihal for ₹19 lakh, while Calicut Heroes brought in eight players, with Sameer Chaudhary being their highest buy at ₹10 lakh.

Chennai Blitz and Delhi Toofans also made notable signings, adding several players to their rosters. The auction saw various teams strengthening their squads, with Telugu Blackhawks enhancing their lineup by acquiring Tanish Choudhary for ₹14 lakh.
