Shane Lowry Joins Rory McIlroy in TGL Trade for 2027 Season

Shane Lowry has made history as the first player traded in the TMRW Golf League (TGL), set to join Rory McIlroy at Boston Common Golf for the 2027 season.

The 39-year-old golfer transitions from The Bay GC, where he played in the first two seasons, to team up with McIlroy and other notable players, including Keegan Bradley, Adam Scott, and Hideki Matsuyama, as team rosters expand to five players.

In exchange for Lowry, The Bay will receive Boston Common Golf's fourth draft selection and a future selection over the next three seasons. Both players expressed enthusiasm about their partnership, with Lowry looking forward to competing for a championship with McIlroy.
