Shane Lowry captivated the local audience during the Irish Open in Doonbeg, Ireland, by achieving a remarkable feat of one-putting every green on the back nine, finishing with a score of 5-under 65. This performance has given him a four-shot lead as he heads into the final round.

Initially, Lowry lost his three-shot advantage when Jacob Skov Olesen of Denmark matched him at the front nine with an eagle-birdie finish. However, Lowry regained momentum with a 5-foot birdie on the 10th hole and a 10-foot par save on the 11th. He completed the back nine with three birdies and six pars, concluding with a pitch to 4 feet for a final par on the 18th.

Lowry's total score stands at 16-under 194 at Trump International Ireland, a course owned by Donald Trump since 2014. Trump, who visited the event after meeting with the Irish Prime Minister, is noted as the first U.S. president to attend a European tour event. Skov Olesen, who struggled on the back nine, finished with a score of 66, leaving him four shots behind Lowry. Defending champion Rory McIlroy faced challenges, shooting a 74 and falling 18 shots back.
