Shaun Edwards Joins Argentina's Rugby Coaching Staff
Shaun Edwards has been appointed as the defence coach for Argentina's rugby team, with his contract extending until the conclusion of the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
This announcement confirms that Edwards will not be joining the England coaching staff, as he is set to complete his consultancy role with England's women's team before starting with Argentina's coaching team led by Felipe Contepomi.
Edwards, who previously helped France secure three Six Nations titles, will begin his role at the end of October, coinciding with Argentina's upcoming matches against Ireland, Italy, and France in November. The team is also preparing for the 2027 World Cup, where they will compete in a pool with Fiji, Spain, and Canada.
