Shavkat Rakhmonov has indicated that his return to the UFC is uncertain following a knee injury that he sustained prior to his December 2024 victory over Ian Garry.

Rakhmonov revealed that he fought while compromised and suggested that other fighters from Dagestan would have withdrawn under similar conditions. He noted that the injury, which involved a significant ligament issue, worsened during the fight, impacting his performance.

The 30-year-old welterweight has not competed for over 20 months and has not confirmed any plans for a return or whether the UFC has proposed a fight date.
