Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, recently addressed concerns regarding a blister on his hand that had been affecting his throwing ability.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Sanders confirmed that the blister occurred earlier in the offseason due to extensive throwing but stated that it is no longer an issue. He mentioned that the blister was a challenge at the beginning of training camp, but he has since managed to overcome it.

Sanders is set to participate significantly in the Browns' first preseason game against Chicago on Saturday, as he competes with Deshaun Watson for the starting quarterback position for the upcoming 2026 season. In his rookie season, Sanders played eight games, starting seven, and completed 56.6 percent of his passes for 1,400 yards, along with seven touchdowns and ten interceptions.
