Shemar Stewart Returns to Practice After Injury

Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart participated in practice on Wednesday, as reported by ESPN's Ben Baby. This marked his return after suffering a hyperextended left knee during the first training camp session on July 29.

Initially carted off the field due to the injury, Stewart underwent an MRI that revealed no ligament damage. After five weeks of rehabilitation, he was back on the field wearing a knee brace.

Stewart, selected as the No. 17 overall pick in the 2025 draft, had previously missed time last season due to injuries to his right ankle and left knee. In his rookie year, he played in eight games, starting five, and recorded one sack, two tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, and one pass defensed.
