Shillong Lajong Secures 5-0 Victory Over Mumbay FC in Durand Cup

Shillong Lajong FC triumphed with a 5-0 victory over Mumbay FC in a Group ‘E’ match of the Durand Cup held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Saturday.

Everbrightson Sana scored two goals, while Abhay Gurung, Tremiki Lamurong, and Figo Syndai each contributed one goal. Lajong's offense was relentless, with Gurung and Lamurong scoring in quick succession during first-half stoppage time. After the break, Sana added two more goals, and Syndai capped the scoring with a header.

This win places Shillong Lajong at the top of Group ‘E’ with six points from two matches, keeping their quarterfinal hopes alive.
