Shotzi Blackheart Signs with TNA After MLW Tenure
Shotzi Blackheart has officially signed with TNA after her appearance at the company's TV tapings in Alabama. This move follows her significant tenure in MLW, where she was a key figure in the women's division and held the MLW Women's Featherweight Championship for most of 2026.
Her recent signing raises questions about her status with MLW, as her previous contract was set to expire on October 5. Although Blackheart was reported to be on good terms with MLW and had committed to future dates in 2027, her new contract with TNA may hinder those plans.
MLW was reportedly aware of the potential for Blackheart's departure and had made contingency plans. Despite losing the Featherweight Championship to Masha Slamovich last month, Blackheart is still expected to appear on upcoming episodes of MLW Fusion. Additionally, she is scheduled to participate in Chris Jericho's Rock N' Wrestling Rager at Sea next month, allowing her to maintain some outside commitments.
