Shotzi Blackheart Signs with TNA Wrestling Following MLW Departure
Shotzi Blackheart has reportedly signed with TNA Wrestling after her recent exit from Major League Wrestling (MLW), making an appearance at TNA's television tapings in Alabama this week.
Her move to TNA follows the expiration of her MLW contract on October 5, 2023. Blackheart previously competed for TNA in 2019 and has experience in various independent promotions after leaving WWE, where she had a six-year tenure. During her time with MLW, she held the Women’s World Featherweight Championship before losing it in September.
Despite this new opportunity, Blackheart is dealing with personal loss, having announced the passing of her brother, Dean. She has decided to withdraw from the CMLL Women’s Grand Prix scheduled for October 23 to spend time with her family and honor her brother's memory. Blackheart expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prix and thanked fans for their understanding during this difficult time.
