Shotzi Blackheart Withdraws from CMLL Tour Due to Family Loss
Shotzi Blackheart, a former WWE star now with TNA, has announced her withdrawal from the upcoming CMLL Women's Gran Prix due to a personal tragedy. Her brother, Dean, passed away last Sunday, prompting her decision to take time off to be with family.
Blackheart shared the news on social media, expressing her gratitude for being selected for the Gran Prix and acknowledging the difficulty of the situation. She fulfilled her booking obligations for the week before stepping back to honor her brother's memory.
This marks the second family loss for Blackheart in recent years, as she previously lost her father in 2021. The CMLL has yet to announce a replacement for her in the Gran Prix, following a recent lineup change that saw Lady Frost replaced by Masha Slamovich.
