Sonal Dinusha Achieves Fourth Consecutive Fifty Against India

Sri Lankan cricketer Sonal Dinusha achieved his fourth consecutive fifty-plus score in Test cricket during the second Test against India in Colombo on Thursday. This performance places him among a select group of legendary batters.

Dinusha's latest half-century came on the final day of the match, contributing to Sri Lanka's efforts to save the game. He had previously scored a century and an 84 in the first Test, followed by 103 in the first innings of the second Test, showcasing remarkable consistency throughout the series.

With this achievement, Dinusha becomes only the third Sri Lankan player to score fifty-plus runs in all four innings of a two-Test series, joining Kumar Sangakkara and Dimuth Karunaratne. He is also the second batter to accomplish this feat against India, following Zimbabwe's Andy Flower in 2000.
