In this match, debutant Noah McFadyen made a significant impact, scoring 134 runs in South Australia's innings of 508 and taking the final wicket to secure the win. Victoria, resuming their second innings at 7-175, was ultimately bowled out for 224, having previously scored 244 in their first innings.
McFadyen's performance included 16 fours and two sixes, while he finished with match figures of 3-65. Fergus O'Neill was the top scorer for Victoria in their second innings with 62 runs, and Nathan McAndrew and Henry Thornton each took three wickets for South Australia.
