
Sparks Snap Losing Streak with Victory Over Sun
On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Sparks secured a 77-68 victory against the Connecticut Sun, ending their six-game losing streak. Rae Burrell led the Sparks with 20 points in the game.
Nneka Ogwumike contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds, marking her 131st career double-double. Erica Wheeler and Dearica Hamby also made significant contributions with 11 and 10 points, respectively. The Sun's Saniya Rivers was the top scorer for her team with 14 points, while Leila Lacan and Kennedy Burke added 13 and 10 points.
Despite allowing 30 points from turnovers, the Sparks managed to hold the Sun to 11 points below their average.
